I was commissioned to design the logo for the 2022 Rhodes Ball and the newly founded Rhodes Shabbat.
The Ball: I wanted to incorporate the Rhode's mascot of a bird while maintaining warm, lively strokes to capture a night of elegance and dancing.
Shabbat: I used charcoal and pastel effects to create a more rustic, earthy feel while including the iconic shabbat elements: candles, challah, and a kiddish cup. The bird serves as both an icon of Rhodes and as a Jewish dove, symbolizing love and peace.
