Bike Piece is a collection of seven images about motion, waiting, and being stuck in place. Several center on an old bike slowly rusting and becoming part of its surroundings, while the others echo that same sense of suspended movement in different ways. The work explores the tension between the desire to keep moving and the way stillness can gradually become its own form of change.
