Bike Piece is a collection of seven images about motion, waiting, and being stuck in place. A few of the images center around an old bike slowly rusting and becoming part of its surroundings, while the others pick up on the same feeling in different ways. I was interested in the tension between the urge to keep moving and the way stillness can slowly become its own kind of change.
